Being a Native Texan means more than describing the place where you were born. It means you know how to work hard, how to problem solve, how to communicate the point, and how to set your boots up after job well done!
Vanessa Van Trease is proud of her Texas born roots and her Hispanic heritage. Growing up the daughter of a construction supervisor in Port Arthur, Texas has taught her the art of pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps!
Graduating from Stephen F. Austin in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Vanessa started her career in corporate America with a national staffing company and continued until 1996 when she left Texas Monthly Magazine to start her real estate career.
Being a minority woman business owner has afforded great opportunities to discover new challenges while focusing on her client’s interests, wants, and desires.
She is constantly drawing on her corporate background to forge new relationships and partnering with other business owners who are service based and have similar clientele.
I moved to Texas from California in 2004. Prior to becoming a Real Estate Agent in Texas, I enjoyed a lengthy career in Information and Legal Technology. As a professional consultant for small, medium and large law firms, I provided both management consulting and technical services specific to network installations, including application customization and training program development projects.
Due to my background in technology, I am able to provide my real estate clients with unique benefits in today’s competitive market. I have listed and sold $1,000,000+ properties and have worked with clients that are CEOs, CIOs, Physicians and other prominent professionals.
My market focus is lakefront homes and properties in Highland Village, Flower Mound, Southlake, Keller and Westlake.
